Current Spotlights
July 2026: Bazaar
Located on Collierville’s historic Town Square, Bazaar is owned by sisters Kristi Lester and Kim Avery, who purchased the already established business about five years ago after being longtime customers themselves.
With a shared love for cooking and a passion for healthy, delicious products, Kristi and Kim have continued Bazaar’s mission of making great meals easy and enjoyable. The store offers extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, loose leaf teas, and specialty products that help customers create flavorful meals and lasting memories around the table.
Community is at the heart of Bazaar. Throughout the year, the store supports local charitable organizations and hosts free community events such as Taste of Bazaar, where guests can sample dishes made with Bazaar products, take home recipes, and enjoy time with friends, family, and neighbors. Bazaar also offers cooking demonstrations and hands-on cooking classes and has recently partnered with a local school to connect cooking with science, chemistry, and math in engaging, educational ways.

As part of their July spotlight, Bazaar will host a special off-site library program at their location:

How the Program Works
The Local Business Spotlight Series Program is planned as a twelve-month initiative, featuring a different local business each month. Businesses will be selected based on their community impact, innovation, and unique offerings. Through this program, the Library continues its role as a hub of knowledge and resources for the community.
Featured businesses will be showcased through:
-
Business Profile: An article or interview on the library’s website and social media platforms, allowing the business owner to share their story, mission, and values with a wider audience.
-
Community Events: Workshops hosted by the featured business, where patrons can engage directly with business owners, learn new skills, and gain insights into what makes these businesses thrive.
How to Apply
If you're a local business owner interested in being featured in the Local Business Spotlight Series Program, we encourage you to apply! However, please note that not all submissions will be accepted, as the program is limited to 12 businesses over the course of a year.
Application Process:
-
Submit an application – Fill out the application form at the library or online at this link.
-
Selection Process – Applications will be reviewed based on business impact, creativity, and alignment with community interests.
We look forward to celebrating and supporting the incredible businesses that make our community thrive!
