Welcome To StoryWalk!

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library and the Friends of the Collierville Burch Library launched the StoryWalk in December 2020 in Halle Park, the beautiful grounds surrounding the library.

The StoryWalk is a unique way to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Signs around Halle Park display each page of the story as well as questions and movement activities to engage in conversation and promote physical activity. 

The story changes at the beginning of each season, with one special holiday story, The Polar Express, as a tradition for every Christmas season.

The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming

Squirrel loves counting the leaves on his tree―red leaves, gold leaves, orange, and more. But hold on! One of his leaves is missing! On a quest to find the missing leaf, Squirrel teams up with his good friend Bird to discover who the leaf thief could be among their forest friends.
