The Town of Collierville offers a meaningful way to honor and remember individuals who have made a positive impact on our community through the Commemorative Park Bench Program.

This program allows residents, families, and organizations to sponsor a park bench within Town parks and public spaces. Each sponsored bench includes a personalized plaque that serves as a tribute while enhancing the character and accessibility of Collierville’s parks, trails, and green spaces.

• Benches are placed in approved locations throughout Town parks and public areas.
• Bench design, materials, and placement are standardized to ensure quality and visual consistency.
• Each bench includes a commemorative plaque with an approved inscription. Plaque inscriptions are limited to the honoree’s name and their remembrance date.
• The sponsorship fee is $3,700, which includes the cost of the bench, installation, plaque, and maintenance for the duration of its ten-year sponsorship.
• Sponsorships are valid for ten (10) years. Sponsors may renew their participation when the term ends or when a bench reaches the end of its useful life.

How to Apply

Applications are administered by the Parks Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department, in coordination with the Parks Department. Placement locations are approved based on site plans and park needs.
