Community Art Gallery - Town Beautiful Commission's "Unofficial Town Flower"
January 13th - March 14, 2026
This community-inspired exhibition invited residents and students to imagine and depict which flower they would nominate as Collierville’s unofficial town flower. Artists drew inspiration from backyard gardens, familiar corners of town, the spirit of Collierville itself, and the people they love. The result is a vibrant collection of original artworks, each rooted in personal meaning and local pride.
From dozens of thoughtful and beautiful submissions, the Town Beautiful Commission faced the joyful challenge of selecting ten pieces to be displayed in the Community Art Gallery at the Morton Museum of Collierville History. These works celebrate creativity, connection, and the simple beauty found in everyday life.
