As part of our community and educational outreach, Collierville Fire & Rescue is proud to welcome residents, community groups, schools, and organizations to visit our firehouses and learn more about the work our firefighter/paramedics do each day.

Ever wonder what it’s like inside a firefighter’s second home?

Collierville Fire & Rescue has six firehouses located throughout the Town. Firehouse tours are offered free of charge as part of our public education program and provide visitors with an opportunity to meet our crews, see our equipment, and learn important fire and life safety information.

During your visit, you may get a look at the living and working areas of the firehouse, explore fire and EMS apparatus and equipment, and learn about the gear firefighters use. Tours also include age-appropriate fire and life safety education.

Tours generally last approximately 30–45 minutes.

Scheduling Your Tour

Please submit your tour request at least two weeks in advance to help us avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure we can appropriately accommodate your group.

Complete the request form below and provide an accurate number of expected participants, including both children and adults.

Group size is important when scheduling your visit. Because our firehouses vary in size, available parking, staffing, and the number of visitors they can safely accommodate, group sizes may be limited or a different firehouse may be recommended.

If your expected number of participants changes after your tour has been scheduled, please contact us in advance. Changes in group size must be approved prior to your visit so we can make sure the selected firehouse can safely accommodate everyone.

Birthday Parties

Firehouses are not available to host birthday parties or other private celebrations. However, families are welcome to request a firehouse tour before a party being held at another location, and we will do our best to accommodate the request.

Remember — Our Firehouses Are Working Firehouses

We want your visit to be both educational and enjoyable, but please remember that every Collierville firehouse remains in service during scheduled tours.

Emergency response always comes first. Firefighters may receive an emergency call before or during your visit and may need to leave immediately. As a result, a tour may be delayed, interrupted, shortened, or occasionally need to be rescheduled.

If firefighters are away from the firehouse when you arrive for a scheduled tour, please wait approximately 15 minutes. If the crew has not returned within that time, please contact us to reschedule. We will make every effort to arrange another visit as soon as possible.
