The Wastewater Treatment division processes and treats sewer wastewater before it is discharged into the Wolf River. The Town operates two sewage treatment facilities with a combined average treatment capacity of 9.5 million gallons per day.

The Northwest Waste Water Treatment Plant expansion cost approximately $20 million, while the Shelton Road Waste Water Treatment Plant upgrade cost around $7 million. Since their construction was completed in 2008, there have been no National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit violations at either plant.
