The Collierville Environmental Commission (CEC) planted a White Oak Tree in WC Johnson Park today, March 4, 2022, as a part of Arbor Day. Mayor Stan Joyner also presented, Paul Brister, Chairman of the Environmental Commission, with a proclamation. Paul was joined by other members of the Collierville Environmental Commission, and Town Public Works Manager Josh Russell. 

“Arbor Day is a unique celebration, focusing not on the past, but on the future, and by planting trees, we affirm our faith in the future,” read Mayor Joyner. The Town of Collierville holds the designation of Tree City, USA from the National Arbor Day Foundation.
