Comedic play The Foreigner is at the Harrell Theatre

Plan a date night with your Valentine this weekend to see the newest play presented by the Collierville Arts Council, "The Foreigner". The Foreigner is a fun, two-act comedy by American playwright Larry Shue. The play is a laugh out loud comedy with a bit of romance that is sure to please audiences of all ages.

 

The Harrell Theatre production of The Foreigner will be directed by Justin Asher. Opening night is Friday, February 11th and the play will have a two weekend run that ends on Sunday, February 20th. The Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 pm with lobby doors opening at 6:30 pm. A matinee is offered on Sundays at 2:30 pm.

 

“This is a very funny play about a foreigner who is in a cabin with people who think he cannot speak or understand English, when in fact he can, and he finds out what all the folks in the cabin are up to. We have an absolutely wonderful cast and I hope folks will come out to the Harrell Theatre to see this show,” said Terry Dean, Executive Director of the Collierville Arts Council.

Adult admission is $20 and admission for seniors and children is $15. Pay what you can night is Thursday, February 17th. The Harrell Theatre is located at 440 W Powell Road.
