In November we celebrated National Novel Writing Month by holding our second Short Story and Book Cover Art contests. We received a great response and it was very difficult for us to choose the winners. After much deliberation, we have come up with eleven winners between both contests.

We are proud to announce the winners and also congratulate the participants. If your name is not listed as one of the winners do not get discouraged as there will be many more opportunities in the future. Such competitions are a stepping stone and each experience helps you to learn. Hence, a positive attitude is what makes you extraordinary.

The winners listed above will have their work published within an anthology titled The Collierville Caboodle. Once prepared and printed, a copy of the book will be added to the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library’s collection. Each winner will also receive a copy of the title, and a limited number of additional copies will be made available to purchase within the Friends Again Bookstore.
