The Shelby County Health Department issued Health Order No. 28, which includes the following changes:

1. Children 5 years of age and older, if eligible, should receive an age-appropriate dose of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 virus.
   
   
2. Masks and isolation protocols are required for schools that are covered by the ADA. The Shelby County Health Department highly recommends masks and isolation protocols in all other schools but such measures are not required pursuant to recent state legislation.
   
   
3. Health Order No. 28 is effective December 1 and expires on December 31, 2021. Health Order No. 27 expires on November 30.
