Two fun arts classes will start at the Linda Kerley Center (LKC) over the next two weeks! The classes are free, but registration is required. 

Artist Sarah Nowlin is part of Creative Aging's Senior Studio and  will teach an ongoing Drawing & Sketching class that starts Wednesday, November 3, at 11:30 am. The class lasts until 1:00 pm, and students will learn basic drawing techniques that will culminate in their producing a still life project by the class’s last meeting on Wednesday, December 15. The other class dates are November 10 and 17, and December 1 and 8.  

Pottery Painting with Adam Loeffel will happen on Monday, November 8 at 10:00 AM. This program is made available through a grant and partnership with Shelby County Division of Housing & Community Development and Creative Aging of Memphis, so participants must be residents of suburban Shelby County communities to participate (Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland, Arlington, Bartlett, Millington).
