The Friends of the Collierville Burch Library held their first public book sale in two years. They unboxed nearly 20,000 books at an offsite location at 575 W. Poplar Ave. Volunteers worked over 600 hours to help with set-up, working at the sale and clean up. The Friends brought in over $10,000, a record for the non-profit group whose mission is to support the Collierville Burch Library.

Through the generosity of Tripp Trezevant, owner of the Poplar property, they were able to easily display the books and customer browsing was a breeze. Tripp also surprised the group with a substantial donation after the sale.

The Friends are always looking for new members to assist in their efforts. They depend on volunteers to staff the bookstore, work the book sales, and help library staff. Give your time, talent, and energy to the Friends of the Library and in return you will meet new friends and help our library grow.
