September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, and the Collierville Burch Library is joining the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country in reminding everyone of the benefits and savings that a library card can provide. A library card gives children, teens and adults access to technology, educational programs, and media resources at no cost.   

The Collierville Burch Library not only has a wide range of books, but other money saving resources such as magazine and DVD rentals, museum passes, streaming services, and much more. This month is also the 20th anniversary of the Collierville Burch Library.  The library is inviting all students in grades K-12 to participate in some fun activities to celebrate library card sign-up month and their anniversary.  Elementary school students can use their artistic skills to design a “Happy 20th Anniversary Collierville Burch Library” bookmark.  Middle and High School Students can create a video that promotes all the resources the Collierville Burch Library has to offer using the theme “Best. Deal. Ever.”  Participants that are not in school are invited to play Library Bingo during the whole month of September.
