The Teen Library Ambassadors program is a group of up to 20 Teens working on creative content to promote the library. New members will be selected based on their application, which should demonstrate a desire to promote reading, ability to work cooperatively with others, and a commitment to attend meetings and programs on a regular basis.

• Provide your input on library programs and collection development
• Develop transferable skills for your resume and college applications
• Community involvement while earning some community service hours

• Be a student in grades 6 through 12
• Have parental permission
• Hold a Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library Card
• Commit to 4 - 8 months of service during September - April
• Must complete at least 2 Ambassador tasks each month virtually or in-person
• Attend at least 1 library program a month
• Attend TLA meetings (Meetings will be held on the first Thursday of the month starting at 5:30p and ending at 6:30p.
  Members who miss three meetings in a year are no longer eligible for the Ambassador Program.)
