The Department of Public Works is currently experiencing extreme brush volumes across the community. Our teams are operating with all available resources to clear materials as quickly and safely as possible.

Service Timeline:

• Normal Schedule is Monday – Thursday
• Crews are currently clearing Wednesday routes.
• Staff will work through Saturday to complete Thursday routes by end of business Saturday.

To put the current demand into perspective, our department averages 16 truckloads (480 cubic yards) of brush per week. As of this morning, crews have already hauled 76 loads (1,758 cubic yards), with significant collection still underway.
