January Local Business Spotlight: Brynn Carter Designs
Collierville Burch Library is excited to feature Brynn Carter Designs as our January Local Business spotlight.
Founded by local artisan Brenda “Brynn” Carter, this Collierville-based business specializes in beautifully designed arrangements and bows for doors and mailboxes, each piece created to make homes feel welcoming, warm, and personal.
Inspired by her southern roots, Brenda has loved making things beautiful for as long as she can remember. In Spring 2023, after selling her first handmade door swag and then another, Brynn Carter Designs was born. That same summer, she worked with renowned designer John Mark Sharpe, further refining her craft.
Brenda’s design style is rooted in southern hospitality and a lifelong love of creating inviting spaces. For her, décor is about more than appearance, it’s about how it makes you feel. Each design begins with an idea or emotion, inspired by the season, timeless neutral tones, or a vibrant burst of color. Carefully selected greenery, florals, textured ribbons, and accents are layered until the piece feels just right. Her goal is to create décor that feels timeless yet personal, offering a sense of welcome and comfort.
Beyond her creative work, Brenda is committed to giving back to the Collierville community. She has donated items for teacher appreciation events, contributed supplies to the Page Robbins center, and supported local churches.
As part of her Local Business Spotlight, she will host a Valentine's Bow Making Workshop at the library on Saturday, January 31, 2026, offering participants a chance to learn her techniques and experience her creative process firsthand. Registration is required.
