The Morton Museum, in partnership with the Town of Collierville, is thrilled to announce the launch of the “In Their Words: Collierville Oral History Project.”
This special initiative invites residents and those with meaningful connections to Collierville to share their memories, experiences, and personal stories about our town.
Whether you have a story about growing up in Collierville, running a business, volunteering, or simply a memory that has shaped your time here, we want to hear from you. The interviews are designed to be casual and conversational, lasting about an hour at most. A Museum staff member will guide the conversation with questions if needed, but our goal is to keep it relaxed and enjoyable, much like sharing stories over coffee.
Currently, we are scheduling interviews on Mondays. While we give preference to current or former Collierville residents, anyone with a meaningful connection to our town is welcome to participate.
Let’s celebrate Collierville together by preserving our community’s stories, one conversation at a time. Your story matters, and we can’t wait to hear it!
