On September 8th, 2025 at the Isaac Shelby Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution Public Service Awards Luncheon, Collierville Fire Lieutenant Jake Lock and Firefighter Francois (Frank) Morris were awarded for their service to their community and Collierville Fire.
Collierville Fire Lieutenant Jake Lock was awarded the Sons of the American Revolution Fire Medal for his outstanding efforts as part of Collierville’s Swift Water Rescue Team. Lt. Lock deployed to New Mexico last year in response to flooding, and again to Rives, TN this past February to assist in rescue operations after severe flooding impacted the community. A recent incident on the Wolf River just solidified Lt. Locks importance as a member of the swift water team. His calm expertise and strong leadership have been vital to these missions.
Firefighter/Paramedic Francois (Frank) Morris was awarded the SAR EMS Medal for his contributions as a member of the Collierville Fire EMS team. Firefighter/Paramedic Morris serves on the EMS Committee, assisting with policies, ambulance specifications, and case reviews alongside Medical Director Dr. Joe Holley. His dedication, commitment to training others, and drive to enhance Collierville Fire’s EMS capabilities have been instrumental in advancing the department’s EMS program.
Congratulations to Lt. Jake Lock and Firefighter/Paramedic Francois Morris on these well-deserved recognitions!
