Want to limit or prevent door-to-door sales at your home? Collierville residents have two easy options:
- Post a “No Soliciting” Sign.
Property owners who do not want any solicitors at their door can post signage that reads “No Soliciting” or “No Solicitors” near the front of the residence. This prohibits all types of solicitation—both commercial and non-commercial.
- Join the No Knock Registry.
If you want to block commercial solicitors only, you can add your address to the Town’s No Knock Registry. This would allow non-commercial solicitors to share information; these groups are often referred to as canvassers and may include religious organizations, nonprofit groups, or political campaigning.

Safety Reminder
All commercial solicitors in Collierville are required to pass a background check and carry a Town-issued ID badge. If someone comes to your door claiming to sell something, you have the right to ask to see their badge.
If a solicitor ignores your posted sign or your No Knock registration, or if they cannot show proper ID, report it to Collierville Police at 901-853-3207 (non-emergency number).
