Congratulations to Lieutenant Draper, the recipient of the 2024 Memphis Exchange Club Officer of the Year Award! Lt. Draper’s exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to the Collierville community have set him apart. As the Lieutenant of the Community Services Division, he has successfully managed School Resource Officers, Crossing Guards, Reserve Officers, and the Citizen Volunteer Patrol, ensuring the safety and smooth operation of these vital services.

In addition to his work in Community Services, Lt. Draper has been instrumental as the SWAT Training Coordinator, overseeing training and personnel, while maintaining the highest standards of preparedness and teamwork. His meticulous planning was showcased during the Collierville Independence Celebration, attended by 20,000 people, where his efforts ensured a safe and efficient event.

Lt. Draper has also played a crucial role in implementing the department’s Body Worn Camera project, helping to equip officers with tools that enhance transparency and public trust. His ability to balance these diverse responsibilities while excelling in each area is a testament to his commitment and work ethic.
