Firefighter/Advanced EMT Charles Newmon was sworn in by Chief Selberg.

Charles joins the fire department as an Advanced EMT with 3 years experience from Memphis Fire.

Charles says he was looking for a change of pace and was drawn to Collierville after spending a portion of his childhood as a resident.

What is his why? Charles says what initially was just a job has given him fulfillment and being able to see that he is able to make a difference has been very gratifying.

Favorite firehouse meal? Charles says he became a much better cook after becoming a firefighter and his favorite meal to make is a creamy chicken alfredo pasta.
