Collierville Fire and Rescue is pleased to welcome Jocko Tate as a firefighter-paramedic to our department. Mr. Tate brings eight years of experience with him from the Memphis and Shelby County Fire Departments. 

 

Mr. Tate has lived in Collierville for the past eight years along with his wife, Ronica, and five children, ages 12 to newborn. "This is where I live, and I don't want to leave Collierville for anything," he said. 

 

Outside of work, Mr. Tate enjoys spending time with his family and playing at Johnson Park. "If I'm not at work, I'm at home playing with them," he said. 

 

Fire Operations Chief Tommy Kelley said of Tate, "We're excited for him to join us. He's a great guy who will be an asset to our town and our department."
