The Town of Collierville is seeking motivated Paramedics who are eager to advance their careers as Firefighter-Paramedics with Collierville Fire & Rescue. AEMTs currently enrolled in Paramedic School are also encouraged to apply.

Collierville Fire & Rescue serves the Town of Collierville through five active stations, with Station 6 preparing to open its doors soon. Working in the fire service, no two days will ever be the same. Your job as Paramedic/Firefighter Recruit will be to perform entry level firefighting work and advanced level pre-hospital emergency medical assistance. Minimum Requirements

Here is what you must have to be considered for the position of Paramedic/Firefighter Recruit:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Paramedic License
• Must obtain Firefighter I within one (1) year of employment
o Must obtain Firefighter II within six (6) months of attaining Firefighter I
• Valid Driver’s License
• Personnel must establish and maintain their actual bona fide residence within a distance no greater than two (2) hours from the Town’s corporate limits.
• If a veteran, must possess an “Honorable” discharge from any military service.
• Must not have been convicted of a felony
• Must not have been convicted of a Class A or Class B misdemeanor within 36 months of hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• If you are an AEMT currently enrolled in Paramedic School, you are eligible to apply, provided you obtain your paramedic license before your start date.
