Join us for the opening reception of The Unofficial Town Flower Exhibition, presented by the Town Beautiful Commission of Collierville.
This community-inspired exhibition invited residents and students to imagine and depict which flower they would nominate as Collierville’s unofficial town flower. Artists drew inspiration from backyard gardens, familiar corners of town, the spirit of Collierville itself, and the people they love. The result is a vibrant collection of original artworks, each rooted in personal meaning and local pride.
From dozens of thoughtful and beautiful submissions, the Town Beautiful Commission faced the joyful challenge of selecting ten pieces to be displayed in the Community Art Gallery at the Morton Museum of Collierville History. These works celebrate creativity, connection, and the simple beauty found in everyday life.
The Commission hopes this exhibition brightens your day and serves as a gentle reminder to slow down, look around, and yes, stop to smell the roses.
