American Heroes is a celebration of the individuals, who have shaped our nation, and the many ways music has carried their stories across generations. This special 45-minute performance will be followed by a 30-minute reception with light refreshments and a chance to meet the performers.

Through a rich blend of classical and contemporary selections, Opera Memphis will explore themes of bravery, sacrifice, and resilience, illuminating the people behind the history through moving vocal performance and dramatic interpretation. This program invites us to reflect on the enduring legacy of American heroes and the role music plays in honoring their lives.
